Dr Jenny Hopton
Dr Hopton is the Clinical Director of Forensic Psychology Clinic. She is an experienced Forensic Psychologist and is registered with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC) and chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Dr Hopton is regularly instructed to conduct psychological assessments for criminal and prison law cases regarding mental health and offending behaviours. She has particular expertise in the assessment and treatment of men convicted of sexual offences. Alongside her private practice she is a lecturer in forensic psychology and mental health at Queen Mary University London.

Dr Hopton has extensive experience working with health and justice settings in both the NHS and the private sector. She has worked across the care pathway within the criminal justice system from court diversion services to inpatient services and within the community including the Offender Personality Disorder Pathway. Her training includes comprehensive assessment, formulation and intervention for individuals with a range of offence histories.
Dr Hopton is trained in a number of specialist assessments for evaluating cognitive abilities, personality, mental health and risk.

Dr. Ionnie Henry
Dr. Ionnie Henry, DForenPsy, MSc, CPsychol, is a forensic psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has extensive experience working across various points of the criminal justice system, including police custody, court settings, prisons, secure hospitals, and community services within both the NHS and private sector.

Through her roles in the NHS and as an expert witness, Dr. Henry has worked with both young people and adults presenting with complex needs. Her experience spans a wide range of offending behaviours, mental health issues, personality disorders, cognitive impairments, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
​
She is trained and skilled in conducting risk assessments and psychological formulations relating to sexual violence, fire-setting, intimate partner violence, and general reoffending. Her work is informed by an understanding of criminal behaviour within the contexts of trauma, vulnerability, intellectual functioning, suggestibility, and neurodiversity.

Dr. Henry holds a particular interest in the effects of trauma on life-course development, the role of diversity in the criminal justice system, suicidality, and therapeutic interventions for psychosis.
​
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Henry is a visiting lecturer on both MSc and Doctoral programmes, where she teaches on topics such as diversity in forensic settings and therapeutic skills.

Dr. Aili Nidsjö
Dr. Aili Nidsjö is a Forensic Psychologist and clinical supervisor with a background in working with adolescents and adults with mental health and neuro-developmental needs across various settings, such as residential and inpatient mental health care, children’s social services, and criminal justice services.

She has 10 years of experience supporting young people with emotional distress and challenging behaviour, considering both internal and external factors that may affect these difficulties.
A large portion of her work focuses on systems change, by providing support and guidance to the professionals and family members closest to the child. She regularly provides psychological assessments to courts, in order to inform criminal justice outcomes and care-planning for young people with complex needs.

Aili is currently a Clinical Service Manager in Southwark Youth Justice and Adolescent Safeguarding Services, guiding the use of systemic and psychological theory to inform service delivery. This includes training, consultation, supervision of clinical staff, as well as working directly with young people and families.

Laura Pike
Laura is an experienced Forensic Psychologist. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has over 15 years’ experience working with adult men, women and young people across forensic settings in the community and custody in a range of settings.

Laura is trained and experienced in a variety of assessments and interventions including general, sexual and intimate partner violence, fire-setting and mental health. Laura has extensive experience producing expert witness reports and giving evidence in Parole Board and in criminal proceedings.
​
Across both the community and custody Laura has worked with individuals with a range of presentations that have included intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders, personality disorder, brain injury and neurodiversity, as well as those at risk of being or involved in gang crime. In her current role, Laura leads on the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) strategy in a custodial setting, as well as sitting on community complex case panels as psychology consultant.

Laura’s specialist interests and expertise lie within the area of sexual offending risk, in particular assessing and working with men who have offence related sexual interests.

Jo West
Jo is a Consultant Forensic Psychologist experienced in addressing issues such as violence, self-harm, sexual violence, and mental health and regularly conducts assessments of personality, risk, and mental health as an expert witness for parole hearings and the court.
She is skilled in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Narrative Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Jo has also held leadership roles in the NHS offender personality disorder pathway and in the prison service, where she has worked with both male and female service users. She is committed to helping adults navigate the challenges of ADHD while also recognising the unique strengths that neurodivergence can offer.

Dr. Walters-Wright
Dr. Walters-Wright is a highly experienced prinicpal forensic psychologist currently working within a London Youth Offending Institution (YOI). His role involves leading trauma-informed psychological work in a complex and high-risk environment.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Walters-Wright has worked across a broad spectrum of clinical settings, including assertive outreach in the community, medium secure hospitals, and several prisons. He has extensive experience in working with a wide range of clinical presentations such as personality disorders, intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum conditions (ASD), as well as varying ages including young people and older adults.
Dr. Walters-Wright applies a trauma-informed model of care in his current role, reflecting his commitment to holistic and compassionate clinical practice. His work is also underpinned by a deep engagement with issues of cultural diversity and social justice. He uses a multicultural framework to explore issues of difference, power, and inequality—making him a leading voice in promoting equity within the criminal justice system. His expertise in this area has led to national recognition, including his involvement in major diversity initiatives.
In addition to his clinical and consultancy work, Dr. Walters-Wright is frequently instructed to provide expert psychological assessments and opinions in complex forensic cases for court and parole. His areas of expertise include offending behaviour, violence, personality disorder, sexual offending, domestic violence, substance misuse, neurocognitive functioning, mental health, autism, learning disability, trauma, suggestibility, malingering, and parental capacity.

Hazel Mangan
Hazel brings 8 years of invaluable experience as a Medico-Legal Personal Assistant within personal injury and civil litigation. As Executive Assistant at FPC, she is instrumental in managing inquiries and expertly matching referrals with the right experts. Her primary objective is to streamline the expert selection process, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality support with minimal hassle.
